YouTube Teams Up with Fox Sports for Ad Deal
YouTube partners up with Fox Sport to jointly sell ads on the sports network’s YouTube channel.
It seems that Burger King is the first one to get its advertisements on the site, according to the announcement, AdAge reports.
The Burger Kind branding and ads appear on the fantasy football section called “Inside Fantasy.” The videos there come packed with prerolled ads, as well as banners. They even made sure to brand various things inside the videos, such as the news desk.
According to Fox Sports Digital Senior VP-Sales Marla Newman, Burger King made a spending commitment for a guaranteed number of video views and ad impressions.
And while the Fox Sports YouTube channel has under 70,000 subscribers, this is just the beginning for YouTube, who could soon attract many other networks to similar deals.
