Google Maps 7.2.0 for Android Goes Official, Update Now
We reported yesterday on the leaked Maps 7.2 for Android platform and now it looks like the application has just gone live on Google Play store.

As expected, the new version of Google Maps brings faster access to navigation, along with route and traffic overview.

Furthermore, Google confirmed it has added improved hotel search results with sponsored rates and booking links.

Last but not least, developers added Tips and Tricks in the side menu. Several bug fixes and tweaks have been implemented in the update as well, but no details have been provided yet.

You can now download Maps 7.2.0 for free via Softpedia or you can update the application through Google Play store. Keep in mind that the application is fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
