Avast 2014 RC1 Available for Testing

Avast 2014 RC1 Available for Testing
It integrates more bug fixes, Internet Explorer should no longer crash

The first release candidate for avast! 2014 product suite has rolled out, bringing the package closer to a stable release.
There are few details about the modifications available in this build, but the developer has announced that the problem with Internet Explorer crashes has been solved.
Also, a company representative has confirmed that the browser protection component for Microsoft’s browser is currently working.

Installation of this version over an existing one should be carried out without issues, without changing any of the settings.
However, the developer urges users to perform the task through the built-in update component, to make sure that no issues occur, because the network component and the firewall have been redesigned.
This is a fairly stable release, but some loose ends are still present. Some users have reported that the registration information does not work when deployed from the system tray icon.
