The Micromax Funbook P600 Tablet has 2MP rear camera and front camera. It is enhanced with 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM. The company claims that the battery has a talk time up to 10hrs and stand by time up to 224hrs. We spoke to a representative who informed us that the tablet is currently available at Snapdeal, Flipkart and a few others.
Here’s a quick look at the specs of the Funbook P600:]

In April last year, the company launched its new 7-inch Funbook at a retail price of Rs.6,499. Micromax dished out two variants of the Funbook tablet – Suave Silver and Brilliant Black. The tablet is powered by 1.2GHz processor and comes with 512 MB RAM.

  • 0.3MP VGA front facing camera
  • 4GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB

Then in August last year, Micromax launched the Funbook Pro, an Android tablet larger than the seven-inch Funbook. It features a display measuring 10.1-inches. The Funbook Pro succeeds Micromax's first tablet. The Funbook Pro is powered by a Cortex A8 processor. Designed mainly as a multimedia and gaming friendly tablet, the tablet runs at 3G speeds when paired with a 3G dongle. The screen featured on this tablet boasts a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, which can be ideal for watching videos, reading e-books and playing games. The Funbook Pro has a VGA front-facing camera, 8GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB and Wi-Fi. Like the original Funbook, this tablet comes preloaded with various apps such as YouTube, Text Editor, Adobe PDF, Flash and more.

But it is the Micromax A116 Canvas HD that has been garnering a lot of attention. At under 15k, you will get a 5-inch IPS 720p display powered by a MediaTek MT6589 quad core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, with 1GB of RAM and a PowerVR Series 5XT GPU. It boots Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and comes equipped with a 2100mAh battery that should be enough to get you through the day and a little more. The 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash should be more than capable of holding its own and a microSD card slot allows for memory expansion.
