WhatsApp Messenger for iOS 7 – This Is How It Should Look
As I wrote earlier today, WhatsApp is in desperate need of a makeover. As one of the most popular iOS apps in existence, the IM client has no excuse to still live in the iOS 6 era with iOS 7 installed on almost every handset out there.
I’d like to think web designer Timo Wever found his inspiration in my article from earlier today, but I wouldn’t flatter myself like that. Instead, I’ll just show it to you.
Pictured above and in the gallery below is Timo’s awesome WhatsApp iOS 7 concept which simply begs to be created: a more elegant font, flat chat bubbles, an awesome shade of green, more intuitive buttons, and a more pleasant design overall.
This thing looks so good I’ll be utterly disappointed if WhatsApp didn’t deliver a similar refresh. What are your thoughts on this? Sound off in the comments.
