Working with dual monitors has become quite wide-spread amongst PC users, regardless whether they are at home or at the office.
But what happens when you are on the go and wanting to use the same functionality? Now you can. A team of three students invented a device dubbed SideCar which lets users connect a laptop to a tablet. The slate is then used as a second monitor.
LehighValleyLive explains that Matthew Fuchs, Adrian Velazquez and Katelyn Noderer were just studying for their master degree in technical entrepreneurship at the University of Lehigh when they came up with the concept.

Now Fuchs and Velazquez have set up a Kickstarter campaign which, if successful, will enable them to launch their SideCar to the masses. Their goal is to gather $21,000 / €15,564 by October 24.
The current device prototype is made of hard plastic and has been designed to work with Apple products, but customer feedback will help the inventors add other devices to the list, as soon as possible.
