Samsung Galaxy Note II Receiving Jelly Bean Update at Vodafone Australia, Adds HD Voice

Samsung Galaxy Note II Receiving Jelly Bean Update at Vodafone Australia, Adds HD Voice
Samsung Galaxy Note II
Australian carrier Vodafone has just informed customers who have purchased the Samsung Galaxy Note II through its official sale channels that there’s a new update available for their devices.

As AusDroid points out, the quite large software update brings HD Voice feature on Vodafone Galaxy Note II. This feature was not available when the phablet launched in Australia, but the carrier added HD Voice in the last couple of weeks.

Those who own the Vodafone-bound Galaxy Note II can download the 1.86 GB update via Samsung Kies desktop software. Unfortunately, this update is not pushed OTA (over the air), probably due to the large size.

Aside from adding the HD Voice feature, there aren’t any other changes included in this update, so back up the phone using Samsung Kies and install the latest firmware.
