Google's Hangouts Service Glitch, Send Messages to Wrong Recipients

Google's Hangouts Service Glitch, Send Messages to Wrong Recipients

Two of Google's services are having issues
Google is having another set of technical issues today, but this time it’s with Hangouts.

A number of tipsters have reported the Google Hangouts service is having troubles routing instant messages correctly.

The issue has also been acknowledged by Google, who is currently working to fix the situation. The Google Talk service appears as “disrupted” on the Google App Status.

Although the problems have been going on for over an hour, the company promised a new update in another couple of hours. “At this time, Google Talk is not functioning correctly and we are continuing to work to restore full functionality,” the message reads.

Messages sent through Google Talk or Hangouts have been sent to multiple, random recipients, which can make things awkward for a lot of people involved.

The issue has been reported by dozens of people already.
