Amazon Introduces MP3 Store Cloud Player, Takes on iTunes
Amazon has launched a brand new iTunes competitor. The company’s Cloud Player for PC now features an integrated Amazon MP3 store where users can purchase songs and albums directly, without bothering with visiting the Amazon.com store.
Up until now, all such transactions had to be routed through the Internet. Truth be told, it wasn’t that much of an inconvenience to buy them from amazon, as they immediately popped up in the Cloud Player.
But Amazon wants to make sure everything goes as smooth as possibly, eliminating steps that waste the users’ time.
The Cloud Player PC app splits songs in various categories, including “Editor’s Picks” and “Album of the Week,” as well as several others.
Purchased content appears in the Amazon Cloud Player apps available for various platforms, including Kindle Fire, Android, iOS, Samsung Smart TVs, Roku, Sonos and the web.
