The “Temash” brand is used to refer to next-generation AMD accelerated processing units made for tablets.
The chips haven't been launched yet, despite the video intros and the AMD Turbo Dock technology demonstrated on a reference slate.
One of them has been spotted though, on the "Tablets with AMD Accelerated Processors" page on the AMD website.
Called A4-1200, it has two x86 CPU cores clocked at 1 GHz, plus integrated Radeon HD 8180 graphics.
The TDP is unknown, although the power use is supposedly of 1.2W when
idle, 1.4W during browsing and 2.35W while playing h.264 online video at
1080p resolution.
Advanced Micro Devices may or may not officially introduce the processor
soon. Since CeBIT 2013 is just about to start (March 05-09, Hannover,
Germany), we hope it won't be too long.
