Microsoft’s Windows 8 and the ARM-powered Surface RT tablet can’t be classified as failures, but they haven’t been runaway successes either. Perhaps with a more traditional Intel CPU, the Surface Pro will jumpstart sales — at least that’s what Microsoft is hoping for. The more costly Intel tablet is on its way, and rumor has it launching at the end of this month.
