Vine for Android updated with front camera support, new upload manager

Android 4.0 (or higher users) get front camera support, new upload manager in Vine 1.2.0 update.
The new Vine 1.2.0 update includes a front-facing camera, increased speed, better settings, a new upload manager for un-submitted posts as well as some big fixes and enhancements.

Hon Hai Precision Industry, also known as Foxconn, has announced that it will soon be releasing a smart watch that will be able to wirelessly connect with Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone. According to a report from the Want China Times, the device will allow users to check their phone calls and social media updates without having to directly use their iPhone

Samsung launches 55-inch 'flawless' curved OLED TV in Korea

Just as the rumors foretold, Samsung has announced Korean availability of a 55-inch curved OLED HDTV. Priced at 15 million Korean won (around $13,000) Samsung claims its "Timeless Arena" design eliminates potential for defective OLED pixels.

With Windows 8.1, Microsoft has pushed out a revamped version of Internet Explorer that is supposed to be significantly faster than its predecessor, not to mention the fact that it claims to be easier on battery life.

Nokia Asha 501 up for pre-order online at Rs. 5,199


First in the new lineup of Asha smartphones, the 501 is now available for pre-order online. The phone will be available to users in the first week of July.

Announced in May, the Nokia Asha 501 is the Finnish mobile manufacturers re-imagination of the budget phone. The device is up for pre-order on the Nokia online shop along with other online retailers such as Flipkartinfibeam, and saholic. The 501 is priced at Rs. 5,199.

iPad and iPad mini coming to Rogers and Telus, iPhone 5 nano-SIMs reach Wind

While it's been easy for Canadians to get data plans for the iPad and iPad mini, they haven't had the luxury of picking one up at a carrier store like their American neighbors. They will soon, however: Rogers and Telus say they'll be selling the LTE versions of both iPads sometime in the "coming weeks."

Apple announces OS X Mavericks


Releases Developer Preview of the next desktop operating system, which packs in more than 200 new features. Consumers will have to wait till fall to download the new OS.
Apple showed off the next desktop operating system at the World Wide Developers Conference, with the biggest change is the shift of the naming, which till now was inspired by a variety of cats. This time around, it goes by the name OS X Mavericks.
