Torrent Site OiNK to Make a Comeback
Perhaps not many remember private torrent site OiNK, especially since it’s been closed for some three years, but it seems it will soon be opening up again.
OiNK is a site launched back in 2004 that soon became well-known across the globe, becoming endorsed by celebrities. The closed community had some 180,000 members when it shut down in 2010 following a legal battle.
This time around, OiNK says it is launching as an ally of the artists. Visiting the website that once hosted the torrent site, you can find an invitation to sign up.
According to TorrentFreak, the owner of the OiNK domains says the site will be relaunched, but there’ll be a different approach this time.
“I’ll let you know that a different route is being taken at this time to continue the site’s legacy in a legal format,” he said, although he provided no more clues.
